Marbelling

This week we have been learning to do marbling during art. 

Olivia used shaving cream and food colouring

Even PETE came and had a turn.

Alison Rae

Today Alison Rae came to visit us in our class. She used to work as a publisher. She told us so much about the publishing process.

After Alison left we looked closely at the different ways books have been published.

We discussed the gap between the line and noticed they were different sizes. We found which one we liked. We also noticed that books have different types of font. We used our computer to find out what the different font were named. We then chose the font we liked best based on what type of book we have chosen to create.

Kirsty Porcer came to visit us today. She showed us some very old books that belonged to her grandmother
