Ping pong Tosser

Task: to make a device from the materials provided which will fire a ping pong ball into the air. The device may delay the firing of the ball up to 40seconds after being triggered. The ball at also have attached to it anything which delays it's decent. The device must not be more than a metre high.

Today's good deed!

Today at school there were some old books from the school library that were being thrown out. When school started everyone started protesting about the books. Some people were angry, sad and worried about the books. Some people started protesting and chanting - and some people wanted to start an angry mob! Most of us gave lots of suggestions of where we could send them instead of them being thrown in the bin. Some were to send them to the Library Book Boat in Laos, to Fiji, Flaxmere Schools, the Hospital and many more. 

After a bit of discussion with Mr Reed... It was decided that we could save them! We were so excited and relieved.

After that, our class went to the front of the school and saved them! Many of us chose some books to take home. We are going to give the rest to charity.
